     Welcome to the new St. Demetrios Day School PTA website!  This site compliments our School website and serves as a link to our flyers, announcements, member information, and volunteer opportunities.   We hope you will find information here that will help you become fully engaged in your child’s educational experience.

MISSION STATEMENT

     The St. Demetrios Day School PTA's mission is to promote communication between our administration, school, parents, and children.  Educational enrichment will be our first priority.   We will develop better communication between our educators and our parents and provide the resources needed by our educators so that our school can attain the highest level of academic excellence.   In order to achieve these goals, we will continue the traditions of our prior PTAs, while implementing programs, and introducing to our school new ideas, views and goals.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

     Dear St. Demetrios Parents and Guardians,

         The St. Demetrios Day School PTA hopes everyone is enjoying the month of May!

         As we enter the final stretch of the school year, the PTA would like to remind everyone to keep those BOXTOPS coming!  We have surpassed our $1,000 goal, and will be using all the funds to help renovate and construct the Annex library/computer room, but that does not mean we don't continue to need those extra BOXTOPS.   Every single, little one counts.

        As you all know, our second largest fundraiser of the year, Ladies' Night was held this past weekend.   It was an enormous success!   This success was largely due to the generous contributions of Bel Aire Diner!    Bel Aire provided all of the hot appetizers and main course for the night and the Ladies had nothing but rave reviews!   For all those who attended, please forward your photographs to the email address below or tag us on Facebook.  We would love to post the photographs on our Facebook page.

        We continue to encourage everyone to check out and "LIKE" our FACEBOOK page so that you are provided instantaneous updates to all of our PTA sponsored events.
